Nearly twenty-five thousand residences in Queensland's southeast found themselves without power on Monday's dawn after intense storm systems impacted the area, producing powerful gusts hitting 109 kilometers per hour.
Substantial Hailstones and Extensive Impact
Locals observed giant hailstones reaching sizes of seven centimeters in certain regions. The Bureau of Meteorology verified that various areas across Queensland had been impacted by significant hail.
